Silence

 If speaking up makes you the problem you were never safe with them to begin with.


They valued silence because it allowed them to hide the harm.


Your voice is proof that they can’t rewrite the story without facing the truth that you carry.


Silence protects the person causing the damage, not the one carrying it. 


When honesty gets punished, it’s because accountability feels dangerous to them. 


Twisting your words, minimizing your pain, or calling you dramatic, or worse, are all ways to hide what they did. 


Your voice is proof that their control has limits.
